Centennial excels when it comes to keeping our customers informed of our
progress. We have recently introduced private customer information sites
so customers can keep track of their projects via the net.
Take a look at one.
Last year we finished one house in in 129 days. Another home took us
208 days. On average we can complete a home in 23 weeks. There are
many factors that can effect the time that your new home will be under
construction. Here are a few:
- The size and complexity of your new home will certainly make a
difference.
- Weather during winter and spring can cause delays.
- Restrictions placed on us by your development or township can delay
work.
- Out of state lenders often cause delays as their inspection process can
be protracted.
The cost of a building lot is ultimately determined by the market place.
How big it is. Where the lot is located, how close to transportation,
sewer lines, schools and hospitals will also make a difference. Monroe
County has been divided into communities, subdivisions and developments with
various amenities. We have seen lots sell for as little as $20,000.00 and
as much as $200,000.00 Centennial Homes
is a full service Real Estate company so we are able to help you with the
search.
There are no hidden costs, but
there are some additional costs associated with your specific lot and house.
When you come in for a visit we will be more than happy to advise you about any
expenses associated with your choices. Most of the common expenses are
listed below:
- A source of clean water - either a well or connection to a central
system.
- A place for sewage - either a septic system or connection to a central
sewer.
- Building permits and code inspection fees.
- Building plans.
- Additional items required by your township or development.
You can relax. Centennial Homes, Inc.
has built hundreds of homes over the last twenty years and we can help
you through the process.
Of course. Our representatives are available to meet with you seven
days a week. If you are traveling some distance it is usually better to
make an appointment but walk-ins are welcome.
