Bob Hutchins
Vice
President and Production Coordinator
As vice president Bob immerses
himself in many aspects of the corporation, including sales, production
and customer relations.
Bob is also a licensed real
estate broker who has an extensive background in service-related
business operations. An honors graduate of Johnson &Wales College (Summa
Cum Laude), Bob has long been involved in management-level positions
which require such diverse skills as cost accounting, contract
negotiations and marketing procedures.
In 1998 he was elected to
serve as President of the Pocono Builders Association. Since 1998 Bob has been a
State Director of the Pennsylvania Builders' Association and has
been elected to Life Director.
In 1999 he was named the
recipient of the prestigious “Builder of The Year Award'' by the Pocono
Builders' Association for outstanding dedication to the building
industry.
In 2001 and 2008 through 2010 he served as Regional
Vice President of the Pennsylvania Builders' Association. In this
capacity he represented the counties of Carbon, Monroe, Pike, Wayne,
Lackawanna, Luzerne and Susquehanna.
In these positions, Bob has
been in the vanguard in support of the enactment of a statewide building
code and Contractor Quality Commitment (CQC) initiatives. He has also
chaired the Pocono Builders' Association Ethics Committee.
In November, 2003 Bob was
elected to a six-year term as a Supervisor in Coolbaugh Township.
He has since won two more elections and is about to start his tenth year
as Supervisor. In January of 2005 Bob was appointed and currently
serves on the Pocono Mountains Regional Police Commission.
In 2010 Bob was once again elected to serve as President of the Pocono
Builders Association
